Assessment (HC)

St. Olaf College's Office of Institutional Research and Evaluation gathers evidence every year concerning college-wide student learning outcomes, such as critical thinking, effective writing, quantitative reasoning, and research proficiency.

Free virtual sessions will be held between Oct. 29, 2020 and March17, 2021.

"This LibGuide provides information on how to create an assessment plan and promote a culture of assessment in the library. The assessment plan describes an assessment cycle. Assessment never ends. It is a process of continuous improvement in response to changes in student characteristics, the economy, technology, and other factors that affect libraries and institutions of higher education."

Includes library websites, data tools, articles, journals, conferences and methods for analysis. This is part of a larger CUNY website dedicated to assessment.
