The first time you use EndNote, you will need to set up an account. You must create your account either while you are using a campus computer, or if you are off-campus, by going through the proxy server. Your account will be valid for 12 months, at which time you are required to login again from an IP authenticated computer to re-establish your affiliation with the TriCo.
Endnote will work seamlessly with Microsoft Word if you install the 'Cite While You Write (CWYW)' feature. On public computers, the CWYW feature is already installed as a Word tool on both PCs and Macs.

The Capture Reference button is especially good for adding web sites to your Endnote library. It will work on most browsers.

The Firefox extension will go onto your Firefox toolbar and will allow you to save online references directly into your EndNote library.
