  •  
  • What household chemicals affect the growth and/or viability of S. cerevisiae?

  • What over-the-counter medications affect the growth and/or viability of S. cerevisiae?

Example:

  • ChatGPT indicated that antibiotics can inhibit the growth of S. cerevisiae.

  • I know that cranberries have antibacterial properties, so I assume that cranberries might inhibit the the growth of S. cerevisiae.
  • Since ChatGPT is not a reliable source, I confirm my assumption with credible literature.
  • In Pubmed or Google Scholar, I do a search such as this:
  • (cranberry OR vaccinium macrocarpon) AND (s cerevisiae OR saccharomyces cerevisiae) AND (growth OR viability OR toxicity)

Is it toxic to humans?

Sticking with the cranberry example, try a search in google such as this:
