INCLUDE INTERACTIVE OPTIONS AND ASSESSMENTS

On-line content creators should be active teachers.  Teaching, as a form of scholarship, should include ongoing review of current research and personal reflection (Boyer, 1996).  Personal reflection, or reflexivity, should be systematic and lead to continued improvement and professional development (Owens, Miller, & Grise-Owens, 2014).

Consider review and assessment of:

  • Number of site visits
  • ADA-related feedback
  • Learners requests
  • Pre/Post questionnaires
  • Satisfaction surveys

Consider establishing a group of diverse stakeholders to review the assessment data and develop corresponding goals.  Institutional learners should be part of this committee.
