You are welcome to use any Swarthmore library, regardless of what you're studying.

There are three main libraries:

question mark icon Swarthmore's librarians and RIAs (research and instruction associates) can talk with you about research ideas and answer your questions, large or small. We can refer you to other campus resources, too. Just ask!

magnifying glass icon Find books, articles, films, comics, and more: Tripod Library Search.

shopping cart iconTripod shows you library resources (online + print) from Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr, and Haverford Libraries.

You can have books delivered to you from Haverford and Bryn Mawr arriving in 1-2 days.

  1. Go to Tripod, then Sign In.
  2. Search for the book you want.
  3. If the book is at Haverford or Bryn Mawr, click the Request link.
  4. Confirm and place your request. You'll get an email when your book is ready.

The libraries are also popular locations to relax and socialize. The handout below has info on some less scholarly library resources you might want to take advantage of!

You can find more postcards like this one at the Research and Information Desk at McCabe.
