Using your textbook, Google, or your own personal experiences for ideas, find a brief popular source--that you deem to be reliable--on a topic in behavioral neuroscience that you're curious about.
- Note the title and url.
- Using ideas from that source, write one possible research question.
- What are the two or three main concepts in your research question?
- Using those main concepts, conduct an initial search in PubMed and scan the titles and/or some abstracts.
- Refine your research question, if necessary.
- Add synonyms, acronyms, and variant spellings to your search strategy.
- Find one primary research article. Be prepared to describe your process.
