Sometimes you will need to look up words or get some basic information before you are able to fully understand the articles you are reading in scientific journals. Using these encyclopedias and dictionaries can help to get your research started.
These books are just a few useful volumes you can find in Cornell's REFERENCE collection on the main floor (they must be used in the Library). They are good sources of IDEAS for your paper, and for brief articles which may help you find keywords & additional resources on your topic.
TRIPOD is the library collection of Bryn Mawr, Haverford & Swarthmore. You can search both articles and books at the same time, or just search BOOKS. Physics books are usually classified as QC, but for this class, you may find useful books under other classifications, too!
