Library of Congress Subject Headings: Structural Engineering

There is a subject heading Building, Iron and Steel that yields some interesting results in Tripod. Or try searching Tripod for the type of structure or construction that you are interested in.

You could also browse the shelves to find books. These are some subject areas (identified by the letters/numbers on the spines of the books), that could be useful for your class projects:

NA = Architecture (likely in McCabe)

T = Technology (including general Engineering)

TA = Civil Engineering

TF = Railroad Engineering

TG = Bridge Engineering

TH = Building Construction
These books might be in Cornell's REFERENCE section (on the main floor), Cornell's STACKS (on the upper floor), or McCabe's STACKS. Be sure to be on the lookout for a in the call number, as these books will be shelved in the OVERSIZED section (the shelves by Cornell's study tables upstairs).
