William Shakespeare in Haverford Special Collections (HC)

This collection of prints from John Boydell's Shakespeare Gallery reproduces paintings by great English artists which were commissioned to fill a Shakespeare Gallery in London in the late 18th century.

This edition of Shakespeare, with a preface by Haverford alum and author Christopher Morley, is illustrated by Rockwell Kent. Special Collections also holds a collection of prints from the original plates made for this edition.
