Studio Arts After Graduation (Tri-Co): Studio Programs / Fellowships

The Space Program, a national program now in its twenty-second year, provides free studio spaces in Brooklyn, NY to visual artists.

A project-based residency program in Lower Manhattan that places visual and performing artists and arts groups in space for the development and presentation of new projects.

One of LMCC’s (Lower Manhattan Cultural Council) artist programs, is a nine-month studio residency focused on creative process and professional development for emerging visual artists and writers.

A non-profit organization dedicated to the creation, promotion, and preservation of new contemporary art utilizing the hand papermaking process.

This New York City program provides 6 artists working in all visual arts media a free private studio space and a $5000 fellowship.

Recipients are granted financial support in the amount of $5,000, a residency in the outdoor studio and access to facilities, materials, equipment, and technical assistance to create a work for the annual Emerging Artist Fellowship Exhibition. (New York State residents)

(ISCP) is a leading nonprofit, residency-based contemporary art institution for emerging to mid-career artists and curators from around the world. Each artist and curator is provided with a private and furnished studio space in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and 24-hour access to all communal facilities. While ISCP does not provide accommodation, most sponsorships include stipends for living expenses, travel, materials and housing.

Offers an eleven-month studio residency for three emerging artists working in any media. The program is designed to serve emerging artists of African and Latino descent working locally, nationally or internationally. Each artist is granted a free non-living studio space, a $20,000 fellowship and a $1,000 material stipend.
