The BAPD is the world's largest database of ancient Greek painted pottery (‘Greek vases’). It contains records of more than 130,000 ancient pots and 250,000 images. Nearly all of the pots included were made during the 6th to 4th centuries BC, and about three quarters of them were made in Athens.
The Ancient World Image Bank is a collaborative effort to distribute and encourage the sharing of free digital imagery for the study of the ancient world.
This enormous image dictionary (in Carpenter Reference) allows you to search for images of mythological characters and events in all media (sculpture, coins, vases, etc.). An excellent source for browsing images of vases, since images of both complete vases and fragments are included.
