Never pay for an article!!
If you're searching a database and there is a *find it* button:
- Click on the button. If we do not have access to the article, choose the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) option.
- The ILL form will be populated for you; just click 'Submit'.
- You will receive the article by email, usually in 1-2 business days.
If there's no *find it* button
- Go to Tripod (see below for link).
- Copy the title of the article into the Tripod search box and select to search only 'Articles'.
- On the left-hand side of the results screen, click 'Include results without full text'.
- Click the article title you want.
- If a database link is provided, click it to get the full text.
- If a database link is not provided, sign in to request the article via 'Interlibrary Loan' (ILL).
- The ILL form will be populated for you; just click 'Submit'.
- You will receive the article by email, usually in 1-2 business days.
In the absence of a *find it* button or an interlibrary loan link, you can fill out and submit the interlibrary loan form manually.
But wait...that's not all! If you're really in a bind, you can also:
- Try emailing the author and asking for a copy of the article.
- Try googling the title to see if there is a link to the full text.
