Sometimes you will need to look up words or get some basic information before you are able to fully understand the articles you are reading in scientific journals. Using these encyclopedias and dictionaries can help to get your research started.
These books are just a few useful volumes you can find in Cornell's Reference collection on the main floor:
TRIPOD is the library collection of Bryn Mawr, Haverford & Swarthmore. You can search both articles and books at the same time, or just search BOOKS.
T's are where the Engineering books are shelved in the library. . If you find a '+' in the call number, that means it is OVERSIZED (too big to fit on regular bookshelves), and is shelved at the end of the alphabet in the ranges upstairs by the study tables.
