This Library Guide was designed with the students in the Design + Make Summer Fellowship in mind. Students in this course are working on toy design and will have full use of the library and the Makerspace (located in VCAM). Please reach out to your friendly subject librarian for more information.

E-ZBorrow
Directly request books from regional academic libraries for delivery in 2-5 days. Books loaned via EZBorrow may be renewed via your library account. EZborrows can be renewed for 30 days. Each EZBorrow can be renewed twice, so that you can have a book lent via EZBorrow for up to 90 days!
Interlibrary Loan
Request books (and more) not available in Tripod or via E-ZBorrow for delivery in 2-14 days. No need to specify a library - the ILL staff will find out who owns an item and is likely to lend. The lending library sets the loan period and makes the decision on renewals.

Publicly available version of Worldcat, a catalog of the holdings of books, journals, and other materials held by OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) member libraries. Includes manuscripts, maps, films and sound recordings. Covers works published before 1,000 BC-present.

LinkedIn Learning is a constantly growing library of more than 1400 courses and 82,000 videos in streaming video format, and new material is added every week. Courses are offered at different skill levels in over 140 specialties. Browsing online using Tripod

Let's say you find a book on Tripod and you really think it is relevant to your interests or research project. You can physically walk over to the stacks (on the 2nd tier) and look at the section where the book is located, but you can also digitally browse. The benefit to digitally browsing is that the Virtual Browse option in Tripod includes all of the libraries in the Trico. Look at the record of the book you are interested in and scroll to the bottom. You will see a "Virtual Browse" section with a carousel of books.
