The Community Health Data Base (CHDB), produced by Public Health Management Corporation, collects primary data via the biannual Southeastern Pennsylvania Household Health Survey (SEPA HHS) and provides access to a number of secondary data sets. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Household Health Survey collects information on health status, personal health behaviors, and access to and utilization of area health services from approximately 10,000 households throughout Philadelphia and Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties. The oldest ongoing metropolitan health survey program in the United States, the SEPA HHS program started in 1983 as a quadrennial program, changing to a biennial survey in 1994 with the most recent cycle conducted in 2015.
