Internships and Study Abroad: Countries, News and Culture (Summer 2019)

Subject Librarians

While abroad, feel free to continue to rely on your respective Subject Librarians for research assistance.

In addition to offering general and subject-specific research help, subject librarians can also write letters of introduction if you need access to a library or archive outside the United States with restricted usage.

Request Articles and Book Chapters

While away from campus, you can continue to request articles and book chapters not in Tripod through Articles, HVC's request service.  PDF scans of the articles will be emailed to you.

Databases, E-Books, and Online Journals

You can get access to the Haverford Libraries' online resources, including online journals, databases/indices, and e-books by first logging into E-ZProxy with your email username and password.

Once you have logged in, the URL of your page will contain "ezproxy.haverford.edu" (e.g., "https:ezproxy.haverford.edu").

If you no longer see "ezproxy.haverford.edu" in the URL, then add https://ezproxy.haverford.edu/login?url= to the beginning of the resource's URL to reinitiate your EZProxy session. Because EZProxy works by dynamically re-writing URLs, ensure that you navigate by clicking on links within a page, not by typing URLs into the address bar.

A Tri-Co page with frequently asked questions about EZProxy is available.
