If you need an item that isn’t available at Bryn Mawr, you have several options for getting it. Always check Tripod first: if a book, journal issue, DVD, or other item is available at Haverford or Swarthmore, you can have it delivered to Bryn Mawr. Requested items usually arrive within a day.

Getting Books and Articles from Other Libraries

Getting Books From Other Libraries:

E-ZBorrow
Request books from other libraries for delivery in 3-5 days. Books loaned via E-ZBorrow may be renewed via your Tripod account. The renewal period is 30 days and each E-ZBorrow book can be renewed twice. So, you can have a book lent via E-ZBorrow for up to 90 days!

Getting Journal Articles from Other Libraries:

ILLiad/Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Use ILLiad to request books, journal articles, book chapters and more not available in Tripod or via E-ZBorrow. Delivery in 2-14 days. No need to specify a library - the ILL staff will find out who owns an item and will place the request. The lending library sets the loan period and makes the decision on renewals.
