HIST 347: Quakers in East Asia (HC) Fall 2017

When you add a new item in Omeka, you will want to fill out the following fields:

• Title: a description of the item
• Creator: the person who wrote, drew, or otherwise created the item
• Date: on which the item was created
• Source: the collection name and number, box number, and folder title for the location of the original
• Description: your notes and analysis of the materials

Be sure to check the "public" box on the right, and to add your item to your collection.

Then go back to the tabs at the top, and choose the "file" tab. This is where you can upload the photographs you have taken of your item.
