  • Go to Tripod.
  • Click the "Books and More" tab.
  • Click the Advanced Search link. 
  • Enter biology in the top box.
  • Enter encyclopedia or handbook or dictionary in the second box
  • Choose limits (such as location=Haverford or year of publication).
