Off-Campus Access to Library Resources (Bryn Mawr)

Connect to Library Resources from Off Campus

If you're not connected to the Bryn Mawr network and you find an electronic resource in Tripod or in our library resource guides, you will be prompted to log in to your Bryn Mawr account. You should then have access through our proxy server.

  • Bryn Mawr uses a proxy server called EZProxy to give students, faculty, and staff access to subscription resources like electronic journals and books when they are not on the campus network.
  • When you are off campus, the proxy server acts as an intermediary to connect you to the resource; it confirms that you are authorized and should get access as if you were on campus.
  • When you are connected to the campus network, you automatically have access to any e-books, journals, or other online resources you find through Tripod or our research guides.
