Undocumented Students in Higher Education (SC)

There are many ways that undocumented students can access higher education. This guide is designed to help those students and their families by providing resources available for undocumented students interested in pursuing education after high school, regardless of citizenship status.

While initially it may seem as though undocumented students have limited options upon graduating from college, this guide is intended to shed light on the possibilities that do exist. The guide has been written to be as inclusive and comprehensive as possible by including personal narratives, student testimonials and advice from experts. It is my desire that undocumented students and allies read through this guide and walk away feeling encouraged and unafraid of the next step

Immigration Law & Policy Practicum May 2018

This guide will detail the legal and practical concerns of undocumented students who are
contemplating or currently pursuing a graduate school education. Each section is divided into
important milestones that occur during the graduate school process. Topics addressed include the
application process, accessing financial aid, transportation, employment, taxes and resources for
support.
