Public and Digital History

The College Women Project makes the university archives of the Seven Sisters schools into a public resource.

• The National Council on Public History: A great place to start, with thorough but skimmable annotated bibliographies of recommended reading. Faculty may be especially interested in reviewing the Best Practices in Public History for Undergraduate Students.
• Engaging with Public Engagement: Public History and Graduate Pedagogy. Study of a public history course at the University of Minnesota. Addresses many of the main points of controversy/discussion in the field. Lisa Blee et al, Radical History Review 102(2008): 73-89.
