What are reserve readings?
Reserve readings are books, videos, and other materials that your professor has set aside for your class. These materials can be used by students in the library (with some exceptions, see below). By placing materials on reserve rather than letting an individual check them out, more students have access to the readings.
How do reserves work?
Loan Period: During the day materials check out for 2 hours, for use in the library only. Books may be checked out overnight after 9:30 pm Sunday through Friday, and after 4 pm Saturday. Items checked out overnight are due back at the library at 9:30 am Monday through Friday, 11 am Saturday, and 1 pm Sunday
Renewals: Unlimited daytime renewals in person at the Reserve Desk, unless the item has been requested by another patron. Evening renewals begin after 9:50 pm.
Overdue Fines: 1 penalty point per hour
