Accessing Resources from Off Campus
A. You can use library digital resources wherever you are. You can authenticate to the system in one of two ways:
1) Use the OFF CAMPUS ACCESS Link (at the top of Tripod result pages or https://ezproxy.haverford.edu/login?url=http://tripod.brynmawr.edu)
Once logged in with the EZProxy identifier in your URL, navigate to the Tripod search box and link to the resources you need. If you no longer see "ezproxy.haverford.edu" in the URL, then add https://ezproxy.haverford.edu/login?url= to the beginning of the resource's URL to reinitiate your EZProxy session.
2) Connect to VPN, if it is installed on your device. If it is not, you can download it from IITS: http://iits.haverford.edu/services/vpn/
B. Digital resources include databases, online journals, ebooks, dissertations and streaming videos. These are all listed and searchable in the Tripod catalog. In the Books and More tab, see the Format categories E-Books and Streaming Video combined with the Haverford link under Institution for immediate access.
Journal articles and individual chapters of books not available digitally can be requested through Article Delivery. Copies will be sent to your email address.
C. Contact a subject librarian for expert advice on resources and search strategies whatever your information needs.
