When conducting your own searches, either in Tripod or elsewhere, remember the same strategies you use for course research. What are the keywords that are going to help you find what you're looking for?
For example, if you're looking for materials to help you understand some of the issues in activist movements, you might want to use such terms as activist, activism, collectives, social justice, movements, etc.
activis* AND "social justice" This keyword search yields 498 results! You can use the filters in the sidebar to narrow your results by year, resource type (maybe you're interested in videos), and subjects, for example. There is even a "social justice" subject option!
