Use the Tripod catalog to look for relevant books owned by Haverford, Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore.You can request Haverford and Swarthmore books and have them delivered to BMC. (The old version of Tripod, Tripod Classic, can often be easier to use if you know the title you're looking for.)

Requests in Tripod
If you need an item that is not available at Bryn Mawr, you have a number of options for getting it. Always check Tripod first. If the book, journal, or other item is available at Swarthmore or Haverford, you can have it delivered to the library of your choice at Bryn Mawr by clicking on the "request" button. Requested items typically arrive within a day.

Can't find what you are looking for in Tripod? Try requesting a book through E-Z Borrow (2-5days). Still having trouble? Our experts at ILL will help. Submit a request for books, book chapters or articles through ILL. Please note that books through ILL take 2-10days while articles are sent electronically and usually takes 2-3days.

E-ZBorrowDirectly request books from regional academic libraries for delivery in 2-5 days. Books loaned via EZBorrow may be renewed via your library account. EZborrows can be renewed for 30 days. Each EZBorrow can be renewed twice, so that you can have a book lent via EZBorrow for up to 90 days!

ILLiad/Interlibrary Loan (ILL)Use ILLiad to request books not available in Tripod or via E-ZBorrow, plus journal articles, book chapters and more for delivery in 2-14 days. No need to specify a library - the ILL staff will find out who owns an item and is likely to lend. The lending library sets the loan period and makes the decision on renewals.
