You are welcome to use any Swarthmore library, no matter what you're studying.

There are three main libraries:

question mark icon Swarthmore librarians are happy to answer your questions, large or small. If you're not sure whether a librarian is the right person to talk to, just ask and we'll help you sort it out.

magnifying glass icon To find books, articles, films, comics, and more, search our online catalog, Tripod (and learn how to use Tripod here).

shopping cart iconTo have a book delivered to you from Haverford or Bryn Mawr, find the book in Tripod.

Then click the Request link next to its availability.

Choose the Swarthmore library where you'd like to pick up the book and submit the request. You'll get an email within a day letting you know the book is ready.

The libraries are also popular locations to relax and socialize. The handout below has some information on some less scholarly library resources you might want to take advantage of!
