ICPR 290: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Gender and Sexuality (HC)

Independent College Programs 290: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Gender and Sexuality (Balay) Fall 2016

Getting Started

Studies of gender and sexuality are often inherently interdisciplinary, as questions about gender and/ or sexuality can be posed from medical, social, political, legal, and artistic disciplines, to name but a few examples. This openness can make the research process seem even more broad and daunting, but it doesn't have to be. As you explore your topics, consider the theories, populations, time periods, places that best allow you to ask interesting questions and use them to ground or "situate" your research and writing.
