To get a book or journal article that is not available on our campus, you will need to use InterLibrary Loan (ILL).
Tri-College ILL - BOOKS: If you want a book from Haverford or Swarthmore, simply click on the REQUEST link next to the check-out date on the book's Tripod screen. Enter your name & barcode, and select WHERE you want to pick up the book. Delivery takes one or two days.
Non-Tri-College ILL - BOOKS: For books NOT available in Tripod, try EZ Borrow to request books directly from nearby Pennsylvania & NJ libraries. Books usually arrive within a few days and must be picked up at Canaday Library (you will get an email notification when the book is here). If the book is not available via EZ Borrow, try regular InterLibrary Loan. (Use WorldCat to get complete book information - the Find It! button on the Worldcat screen will fill out the ILL form for you! Simply add your name & barcode record at the top of the screen).
JOURNAL ARTICLES: For articles in journals not available at Bryn Mawr, use the article delivery form. When searching in a database, the Find IT! button will populate the ILL form for you if we do not subscribe to the journal. All you need to do is fill in your name and barcode number!
