Executive Branch Sources

Agencies publish proposed, interim, and final rules and regulations in the newspapers or registers of federal and state governments.  Rules and regulations on the federal level are first published in the Federal Register and then compiled in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)

Executive branch agencies issue decisions to interpret and enforce rules and regulations.  Presidential proclamations and executive orders may also have regulatory impact.
