Photographs covering a wide range of the history of Haverford College are available in Special Collections. There is an incomplete listing of the more modern photographs available online, and some of these photographs have been digitized. Most earlier photographs have not been digitized. Photographs show student life, athletics, classes, faculty, and events.
Audio-visual materials in the archives includes recordings made by Haverford musical groups, recordings of various speakers, performances, and events which took place on campus, as well as various interviews. Materials are in a variety of formats depending on age. A few of these recordings are also available digitally.
In addition to photographs, Special Collections also has art images (usually prints of some sort) and blueprints related to a number of campus buildings. These are often quite large; some of the images may also be in color.
Historical interviews with important figures (often near the end of their time at Haverford) provide another view of Haverford history. A few recently conducted oral histories are available online, while others are available as recordings in Special Collections.
