The NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education. Under the Data Tools tab, choose the SEARCH TOOLS link to find information on Public School Districts and Public or Private Schools including detailed data related to enrollment, the number of staff, and the district's financial profile and educational expenditures.
Choose GET STARTED on the bottom left of screen, then search for your school name. The report will give data on enrollment by ethnicity, economic background and English language learners. You can also get an academic score based on statewide assessment data.
Pennsylvania Standards describe what students should know and be able to do, such as English Language Proficiency or Interpersonal Skills; they increase in complexity and sophistication as students progress through school. Using this tool, you can locate specific standards, anchors, and eligible content based on subject area and grade level or course. Select the subject area and grade level, or select the course to view the related standards.

PVAAS is a statistical analysis of Pennsylvania (PA) state assessment data - this lens of measuring student learning provides educators with valuable information to ensure they are meeting the academic needs of groups of students, as well as individual students.
State education chiefs and governors in 48 states came together to develop the Common Core, a set of clear college- and career-ready standards for kindergarten through 12th grade in English language arts/literacy and mathematics.
