- Browse the books of Quaker fiction with Quaker characters by going to Tripod, using "advanced search, call number BX7724, with material type as "book," then use the libraries filter to only look for books at Haverford. Choose "Haverford: Lutnick Library" (there should be approximately 250 books in those search results). You will find these books in the Rufus Jones Study on the 2nd level of Lutnick Library.
Tips:
- Many Quaker fiction books have been transferred to our closed stacks to help preserve them. If you would like to use a book in the "Haverford: Quaker & Special Collections" section, you can either look on ABE books or Amazon to purchase your own copy, or come to the Quaker & Special Collections reading room to read them there. The reading room is open from 9-5 Monday-Friday.
- Books with the call number BX7724.4 are written by Quakers but do not necessarily have Quaker characters.
