The Special Collections Department at Bryn Mawr includes a large number of 18th and early 19th books and pamphlets from England and France relating to Marie Antoinette and the larger range of issues around social life and the role of women, including many illustrated literary and satirical works, and works on education, cooking and crime, including prostitution.
Special Collections is open from 10:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. Emailing or calling in advance is recommended to ensure that the books you want to use will be ready for you.
